Kevin Eldredge and his wife Karen won the Unlimited and overall race at an average speed of 337.46 mph over the 400 mile course from Dayton Ohio to Fondilac Wisconsin just south of Oshkosh. Relentless had just completed it's total rebuild and test flights in time to fly to Oshkosh for the race. Kevin commented that, "racing the NXT at 1000 feet agl at 300+ knots indicated was truly amazing but it was quite tame compared to the G loaded turns and pounding you experience at Reno. I am looking forward to racing next year to Oshkosh and will certainly look forward to the competition of a few more NXT's in the race to make it more competitive. I realy enjoyed participating in the Airventure Cup Race and want to thank the folks that put on the race. They are very oirganized and I felt the level of professionalism and saftly was exceptional!"
Relentless returned to California without and problems and is now undergoing additional "enhancements" in preparation for Reno. While cruising along at 337 mph full of fuel and carrying Karen was fun, the true ability of the NXT must be unleashed this year at Reno in order to make a run at winning the highly competitive Super Sport Class.
We are Relentless!!!
