  SLO Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with XtremeAir  
     
 
SLO Air and crew in San Luis Obispo where only a few weeks away from closing door of the NXT manufacturing and literally stumbled across the coolest little plane! Xtreme Air of German has been developing this aircraft along with a two-seat version for unlimited acrobatics competition and all out Fun for the past 5 years.

Details of the arrangement are still being worked out but here is what we know now:

The first aircraft, in the photo, will be delivered to San Luis Obispo, CA on May 3rd. This aircraft will be the demonstrator and is expected to be available for customer evaluations once US certification is complete.

The first two-seat version is being completed in Germany now and will be arriving in US in time for OshKosh. Both aircraft will for demonstration flights at Oshkosh, FAA willing.

Once the two versions of the aircraft are in the US and evaluations are complete SLO Air expects to start taking orders for the aircraft. Xtremeair will build the airframes in Germany and ship them to California for final assembly and installation of customer specified engines, avionics, and custom paint.

The aircraft will be certified initially in Germany and then in the US by the end of 2009. Until certification is complete the aircraft will be sold for Experimental Exhibition Certification only.

Final pricing is still being worked out but both variants of the aircraft will be between 300-350k us and we expect first delivery to customers before the end of the year.
