Gary Ward flies Sbach 300 and 342!!!

The offer was simply to good to turn down! Come out to beautiful San Luis Obispo and strap on the hottest aerobatic airplane on the planet!!! Well, the beautiful part was edgy with our first real rain showing up all 4 days, but that did not drown out the enthusiasm of Gary Ward to find out what all the todo is with the all new Sbach 300 and 342. I had the pleasure of flying with Gary on most of the flights and was simply amazed at his ability to jump right into the hardest tricks that he incorperates in his airshow act in his MX2 and do them with such ease.
Flat spins, tumbles, and some new things I have never seen before. Gary found the rudder to be "amazing". The ability to sustain flight on knife edge was truly better than he had seen. The more Gary flew both the planes the more comfortable he seemed to get and his flying really showed it. In the end he found little fault with the abilities of either Sbach model and only dissapointed that the weather kept him from exploring further the unique abilites of the slow flight characterists of the Sbach.
I don't expect Gary to give up his MX2 anytime soon with all he has into it, but one thing is for sure, he will be racking his head about maneuvers that may only be possible in a Sbach 300 and 342!!!

Check out Gary's Web site via the link below, quite a performer!!!
